You are invited to participate in the seventh annual Houlton High School Alumni Band as we perform at a varsity basketball game on Saturday January 10, 2009 for a Houlton Boys vs. Lee Academy game.  The music department invites all former band members, from any graduating class, to participate in this fabulous afternoon.  This year we will have the Alumni Band performing on its own, so we need a strong turnout.  We hope to get many alumni for this event to make it a success.  Call your classmates!  The band will be lead by Dave McGillicuddy and Joe Fagnant.  The schedule is as follows:

HHS Alumni Band Day…Houlton Varsity Boys vs. Lee Academy

Saturday January 10th, 2008 4:30pm

4:30pm Arrive at HHS to prepare music/instruments.
4:45pm            Rehearsal on stage in HHS auditorium.
5:45pm Dinner provided by MSAD #29 Music Boosters
6:30pm             Prepare for pre-game, perform musical selections and National Anthem.  We will also perform at halftime.
8:00pm            Finished

If you wish to participate in this event, please fill out the form and return to the music department.  If you have any questions, email or call Joe Fagnant, HHS Band Director, 532-6551.  DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS, THERE WILL BE NO MAILING OF MUSIC.  We will pick familiar songs from past years and have music packets ready for you when you arrive.

Special recognition will also be given to alumni that fit the following categories:

  1. Furthest traveled.
  2. Oldest alumni.
  3. Largest class represented.
  4. Most family represented.
  5. Your participation also earns current band members prizes.
This is an exciting opportunity to bring alumni from different generations together to relive a great musical experience. We looking forward to having you return to HHS.

Dave McGillicuddy and Joe Fagnant
